To do a Northern Arizona belly casting we require you to have no shirt or top on. Most clients wear a bathrobe and disrobe as we are ready to apply the gauze and plaster. We initially put on a coat of olive oil or coconut oil so that removing the cast is easier. The plaster involves some slight heating and cooling of the skin as the plaster cures.

The process takes 30 minutes to an hour. It’s good to block out an hour and a half so you don’t feel rushed.

The average belly cast takes 2 weeks to complete unless you decided on a lot of different decoration material which requires different stages of application and drying.

Your belly cast is a celebration of you. The more the merrier. We caution having young (ages 1 – 3) children running around unattended as this tends to stress clients out. Once the plaster is curing we want you to remain as still as possible.
